IPV mini problems, Solution!

Skip reading and buy a new batter cap, that is the problem CLICK >>HERE<<<

If you are like me, you love IVP. It has been a damn good mod for a few months and even a year and then suddenly you get weird shit going on.
Issue 1. It won't turn on.
Issue 2. It turns on but then a few puffs and bam its off.
Issue 3. It comes on while screwing the battery cap on about half way and then goes off again or only works for a few hits and off again.

This is frustrating as fuck and you want to throw your mod out of the window, afterall you spent 50 to 100 bucks on this and think it is a paperweight.
Good news, the battery cap is a piece of shit!!
Look for a new cap and problem solved, or ***DISCLAIMER, proceed with caution we are not responsible for injury or any shit that may happen, this is all on you*****
Under the disclaimer I personally tried this trick and it works for now. I took foil and put it in the bottom battery cap and enough to hang over the threads just a bit, because over time the coating on the threads wears off and then contact is the issue now. Got the battery screwed in with a small piece of foil and VOILA it works like new. So I have ordered in a variety of battery caps to see what will work here and in the mean time I am using,,,,, fucking foil!!!.

This will probably piss you off but the guts, the "tube" consist of some junk metal aluminum negative ring and then a PLASTIC fucking tube, yep P>L>A>S>T>I>C>. WTF!!!!

Shit I tried,
Cleaning the inside of the mod with pure grain alcohol, threads, ring, connector pins, insulators, taking it apart, can of air the inside, none of that did anything but waste my time and I guess clean the mod up a bit. No juice in the circuit board like I feared would happen or did happen so that is a bonus.

All in all this is a decent mod that needs to come with extra battery CAPS witha big huge fucking S at the end as this is a really damn good mod the IPV mini V1 and V2 but the battery caps are janky, and turn to shit 3+ months, in reality designed to work until warranty ends. Ain't that a bitch!!!

All in all I just saved you from throwing this mod out with the disclaimered tin foil trick, Possible dipping the cap could work if you know what you are doing but ordering a new cap and waiting is the easiest method and by far makes the mod brand fucking new again and back to vaping in no time. If you couldn't guess I need some NIC from this whole ordeal. I bought new mods and set the IPV mini and V2 to the side and revisited the problems as I noticed this was a trending problem so I knew there was a simple fix, GET A NEW CAP FOR THE BATTERY AS SOON AS YOU BUY AN IPV MINI OF ANY TYPE OR SKIP BUYING IT!!

Now I did the leg work here is where to get a new GOOD cap that fits both the V1 and V2
Only $5.99 and worth every dime!!
